Pantomime for 2020 cancelled

Please see below an important announcement regarding our Pantomime for 2020:

Due to the uncertainty surrounding theatres and amateur dramatics with COVID-19 – CTW have decided to cancel their Christmas pantomime for 2020.

We have not taken this decision lightly – it will be one of the only times in the last 40+ years we have not put on a Christmas production/pantomime for the public. However, the safety of both our cast/crew and our loyal patrons is more important to us than anything. Added to this is the fact that we still live in uncertain times and there is no telling when the situation will go back to a ‘normal’ state.

Although there will be no shows planned for 2020 we are having internal discussions about how we could possibly do a socially-distanced table read of potential shows for next year. Whether this is in person, or virtually, is yet to be decided. We will communicate any social events out via our Facebook page or our mailing list

We still plan to perform our Spring show ‘And Then There Were None’ in Spring of 2021 – you can read more about this announcement here.

Whilst these are not the announcements we wanted to bring you this year, rest assured we will be aiming to come back with a bang in 2021.

If you have any questions about this announcement then please email us at cottenhamtheatre@gmail.com

Thank you for your continued support during this time.
