Are you ready to walk the plank? – CTW’s 2021 Pantomime is announced!

Cottenham Theatre Workshop is back with a bang (literally!) for our 2021 Pantomime – Treasure Island!

Long John Silver may be a dastardly villain, but he’s not had to deal with the Ladies of the Smuggler’s Cove Women’s Institute!

For our Pantomime this year, we’re performing Treasure Island, written by acclaimed pantomime playwright Ben Crocker and directed by our long-term member and friend Kerry O’Connell.

Including a search for buried treasure, pirates in frocks, and a group of hardened members of the W.I. who are desperate for a career change, this show promises to serve up all the classic pantomime tropes with a few surprises thrown in.

Intrigued? We thought you might be!

If you’d like to be involved, then the following dates will be of interest to you:

Auditions: 9th, 13th, 16th July 2021 at All Saints Church Community Hall, Cottenham

Readthrough: Friday 3rd September 2021 at Cottenham Village College

Show Dates: Wednesday 1st – Saturday 4th December 2021

Due to COVID restrictions, we’re doing things a little differently this year, including hosting the readthroughs just before rehearsals start. If you’d like to be involved with the show in any capacity (cast/crew/FOH/technical) then please fill in the form below. You will be added to our mailing list, if you’re not already, and sent a follow-up email with all the information and instructions you need, in due course.

We’re really looking forward to be able to perform for all of our valued patrons again and can’t wait to begin with this latest show!
